2020 Toyota Tacoma Off Road Review – What I Absolutely Hate About it

  • by

3 weeks ago I bought a brand new 2020 Toyota Tacoma. You may have heard rumors about how hard it is to find trucks these days and they are 100% true. I began by calling local Toyota dealerships and telling them what I wanted. These dealerships were located in the Salt Lake City area.

All the dealerships wanted to do a deal so they had no problem telling me that I could get whatever I wanted. Even after giving them the specs they still kept promising.

Long Bed
Cement Color
Tech Package
Double Cab

I had one dealership tell me they had one and take a deposit only to call me back a few hours later and say they could not actually get it. My wife came into my home office and said she found one in St George (4 hours away) and that I should call them immediately. The first thing they said was “Yeah, we have it. If you want it we need a $3,000 deposit right now. I gave them the deposit.

After a throwing on a 3″ Toytec Boss supsension kit, Nitto Ridge Grapplers, 4Runner TRD Pro Wheels and a Prinsu Cab Rack, it was mine for the low low price of just $46,500. Luckily I was able to sell my 2013 Ford F150 Lariat in 2 days for $21,500.

I drove the 4 hours to get it back home and it did well on the freeway. With the Radar Ready Cruise Control you don’t have to hit the brake or gas much so commuting and freeway driving should be a breeze.
